Human Rights
Statement
Last updated January 2026
ARCHIATO is committed to respecting fundamental human rights across our work, collaborations, and operational footprint. This commitment informs how we design, research, and deploy systems globally.
Core Principles
We align with internationally recognized human rights standards, with particular emphasis on:
- Privacy, dignity, and data protection.
- Equal treatment and non-discrimination.
- Responsible and proportionate use of technology.
Responsible Design & Technology
The systems we design influence access, behavior, and outcomes. We work to minimize harm, avoid misuse, and ensure clarity where computational systems shape decision-making.
We expect partners and suppliers to uphold basic human rights standards and will not knowingly engage with entities involved in forced labor, exploitation, or trafficking.
Scope & Responsibility
ARCHIATO is a design and research studio, not a data broker or system operator. Clients remain responsible for the deployment and operation of systems we design.
While we advocate for ethical use, our ability to oversee post-deployment operations is limited by legal, contractual, and privacy boundaries.
Risk Awareness & Mitigation
We address risk through privacy-aware design practices, project-level assessments, and use-case evaluation prior to delivery.
Concerns related to ethical conduct, misuse of technology, or rights violations may be raised without fear of retaliation.
“Responsibility begins with design decisions made early — not disclaimers added later.”
